True Calm’s Health Procedure  - Your in Safe hands

It is of up most importance that a safe and healthy clinic is maintained through the levels of COVID-19. With support of the Ministry of Health and Regulatory Body: Massage New Zealand, True Calm will enable a healthy and sanitized Clinic by putting the following in place.

Please only come to your appointment if you are well.

PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT

Prior to your appointment you will receive a Covid-19 screening questions, this is to help us understand that you are well and safe to treat in our clinic, protecting our community.

ON YOUR ARRIVAL.

a) Vaccine Passes: The government requires that all clients have to show their Vaccine Pass enter the clinic. These will be scanned on arrival by your therapist.

b) Please continue to sign in using the COVID TRACER APP when you arrive: Please sign into the gym Hiko Health and Fitness QR code and the True Calm Clinic QR code placed to the right of the room entrance.

c) Please arrive on time to reduce time waiting in the waiting area & maintain physical distancing. Your therapist will ask you into the clinic room once it has been sanitised between each appointment.

d) Use the hand sanitiser available before entering the clinic room

e) MASKS: Please wear your own Mask, We do have masks a the clinic if you have forgotten your own.

Keep you Safe

a) Hygiene measure in the clinic: Cleaning surfaces regularly between each client: True Calm will utilise the best available disinfectant/cleaning spray on the majority of surfaces. We will also be changing all linens between clients.

b) Therapists are fully Vaccinated and have had boosters.

1. Please do not come to your appointment and reschedule your appointments if you or any of your close contacts are sick, or are showing symptoms of sickness including the common flu and cold.

Symptoms specific to COVID19 include:
- a cough
- a high temperature (at least 38°C)
- shortness of breath
- sore throat
- sneezing and runny nose 
- temporary loss of smell

Please note, if you turn up when feeling sick we are unable to treat you. No exceptions.  If we get sick we are unable to work, and this impacts other clients and business.  To make this easier for you, we don’t charge for appointments that you have to cancel at short notice when you are sick.  But the sooner you let us know the better.

 2. Please refrain from attending your appointments if you:

a) Are a close contact: Link here for Gov Explanation.

b) If you have travelled from a location of Interest locally or overseas. Link here

c) Have been overseas and have not followed correct self-isolation protocols. (14 days Isolation)

d) Have been in contact with someone from overseas who hasn’t followed correct self-isolation protocols.

e) Have been in contact with someone who has tested positive, or is suspected to be positive of COVID-19 or awaiting test results. Please remember that results can take up to 48 hours, please leave adequate time to reschedule your appointment.

f) Have been in contact with someone who is expressing the symptoms aforementioned in (1)

3. Please be cautious that individuals with reduced or attenuated immunity are at a greater risk of infection. This includes, but isn’t limited to, the elderly, those with autoimmune diseases, diabetes, and/or cancer. Please check with your GP if you have concerns about your health and immunity.

4. VACCINATION: Please note there is a 72 hour stand down between having your vaccine and coming in for an appointment for any bodywork. The majority of side effects are experienced during 12-72 hour period after the vaccine.
